    The targets are made from metal-infused vinyl, meaning a magnet will stick no matter the polarity. Measuring 0.75 inches (19mm) in diameter and 0.05 inches (1.27mm) thick, these targets also have a layer of 3M high-bond adhesive, so no glue is required! Have complete control over where and how you want to display your miniatures. Stick a Troop Target down, and sleep soundly knowing your plastic or resin mini will stay put!

    Recommendations & Installation:

     

    • For Miniatures: Adhere a Troop Target to the center of each Layout Layer slot. For larger bases, add 2-3 Troop Targets.

     

    • For Vehicles & Large Miniatures: Skip the Layout Layer. Magnetize the base, test fit, then place the Troop Target onto the magnet and peel the film. Place the miniature in the case and apply pressure to secure adhesion.

Very Good Magnets for clear cases

Nice cut sheet magnets that are great for clear cases. The have sticky backs that work very well and do not peel up from the opposing connections.

They stick and minis stick to them!

What can I say, they stick well to the case, magnets stick to 'em, they do what they're supposed to. I combined them with layout layers, but I reckon you could free hand them quite well if you trust your spacing, because once they are on they stay on!

Functionally they are slightly thicker than third party "magnet ready" vinyl sheets I have compared these targets to, so don't go overboard with really thick magnets on the mini base. They stick well to the base and magnets stick well to them without sticking _too_ well and leaving the mini's base.

The opposite of no-stick pan technology

I've got a couple of Orca cases that I use to transport my Bolt Action army to my friend's house on occasion, taking advantage of the strap that makes the box into a carry case. I drop it in a simple tote bag with a few extra bits and bobs for gametime (rulebook, dice, and those always pesky pin markers) and off I go.

Pro Tip: Don't leave a tote bag on the floor if you own cats.

Pro Tip #2: If you do leave a tote bag with your Orca cases full of painted minis on the floor, make sure you're using these troop targets and magnets. When one of my cats finally managed to tip the tote over with my army inside, *ONE* miniature out of lot "fell" from it's appointed place. Don't worry, Big Red! It wasn't a failure on the part of the case! It was one of three miniatures on a "team" base. The team base was magnetized and sticking to a troop target like a champ. I failed to properly seat the mini in the team base. The good news: No paint jobs were harmed in the feline free-for-all!

Also, Surprisingly good for paint handles

I've actually started putting a troop magnet on during the build process, and I put these on my ad hoc pill bottle paint holders and they're brilliant.

Great for storing minis too, can turn my case upsidedown and shake and the minis are stable and secure.
