    Cases+Covers vs. Tournament Play

What setup is right for you?  Here are some suggestions!  There are two main options you need to decide on first; using Cases & Covers, or Covers only, which we call Tournament Play.

Cases offers the best protection by fully surrounding miniatures within the case, while Tournament Play offers the most flexibility with easy access to your miniatures for quick deployment. Using our Troop Targets & Magnets will ensure that your miniatures stay securely in place as you setup.

Every tournament player knows how important it is to utilize every opportunity at their disposal; Tournament Play gives you the edge by allowing you to deploy your troops fast and efficient like a pro!  With our crystal clear Lucite® acrylic, easily find your units, deploy in a snap, and then grab an espresso as you wait for your opponent.

With Crystal Fortress, you can ramp up the intimidation factor before removing your first model!

    Awesome product

Super happy with the end result. Not too difficult to assemble, and it looks great. Can keep adding as your army grows.

...and your minis look AMAZING in the case!

    Humpback Cover

The case covers are perfect - they fit nice and snug with no wiggle room, so you can be confident that they'll remain in place once set. While they have a near perfect fit, they're easy to take on and off, so taking it off again to make adjustments to your units is a breeze.

Like some others have said, it'd be nice to have a case/lid option without the support handle holes, but it sounds like something is already in the works. Can't wait to see the premium case line!

    My Armies Look Awesome

Foam carriers are handy, but it’s really cool to be able to show off the results of the hours of painting and assembling your miniatures.
(Even my wife thinks they look cool now!)
Clear instructions, super easy to put together, and really sturdy!

Your armies do look awesome! Great job.

    Humpback cover

The lids are great solid support, quality is top notch. I have over 10 of these now and the quality is consistent through out.

Only suggestion I would have is a way to plug the support holes when the middle won't be needed (only a stack of humpbacks or it is the top one). I have a few kingdom death monsters that needed the head space and didn't use the supports. Packing tape sorted the dust worry but it would have been nice to have a direct option.

Corey, Thanks for the review! We might have just what you were looking for. Soon we will be releasing 'Premium' line of cases that do not have the center handle. These will really push the display quality of the Humpback case for those that do not want to use a handle. More info soon! Make sure to sign up to our newsletter (bellow in the footer)

Shipper Broke It, Company Made It Right

The box had a crushed corner when I brought it in, and two of the locking tabs were crushed when I opened it. As with previous orders, the acrylic itself was high quality and the product was carefully packaged, but whatever FedEx did to it got past that careful packaging.

I'm leaving this at five stars because, when I reached out to Crystal Fortress, they got back to me almost immediately and made it right. Between my initial report and them providing confirmation of the resolution, less than 48 hours passed AND this was over a weekend. I was really only asking about repairability because it obviously wasn't a manufacturing problem, and the fact that they still gave three very satisfactory replacement/refund options was reassuring. I have a replacement on the way and will leave a new review of the part itself when I actually have an intact one.
