Miniature Base Size Checklist

Be sure to print out our Miniature Base Size Checklist from the Size Guide to check and see if your miniatures base will fit our Layout Layers.

As long as you can see the printed black line around the edge of your miniatures base, you are set!  We have built in tolerances that allow for some wiggle room.

If your model completely covers the black line, it may be very tight, or not fit our Layout Layers.

Perfect for Dreadnaughts

This is great for lots of heavy units: Heavy Destroyers, Ironclad Dresdnaughts, Death Company/Furioso models. Really useful for Dreadnaught and Heavy unit armies for Space Marines and Necrons.

A perfect nest for monsters!

This tray is perfect for models with larger bases, while still allowing smaller models to nest in the gaps. My larger troggoths for Age of Sigmar fit nicely in this tray.

The Crystal Fortress layout layers are fantastic. The arrangements allow for a great view of all your minis, with a good mix of base sizes available. I'm so happy I found these!

Great layout

Is a little tight for 1 ork dread and 3 killa kans but I also didn't magnetize their arms so that's my fault. It still fits them perfectly once I turn them in the right way.

Too crowded for Tau

Excellent quality but not suitable for Tau. It's best reserved for Commanders and Missilesides in less dynamic poses. I tried to fit a Pirnaha, Commander, and Broadside and it was way too crowded. I ended up not using it.
